We are a strong, thriving organization and for 35 years L'Arche Cleveland has continued to grow into a diverse community that works to create a more caring and loving Cleveland where the rights and dignity of all people are respected and embraced. As a community, L'Arche Cleveland seeks to respond to the distress of those who are too often rejected and give them a valid place in society by building homes with and for people who have developmental disabilities. We continually strive to meet the needs and celebrate the gifts of each person in our community, whether it's [our] core members (those with intellectual disabilities who are at the "core" of our community), our assistants (those sharing life with our core members), or our committed volunteers, supporters, and board members.

As a care giving agency, L'Arche Cleveland receives approximately 90% of its budget from state and county funding. Government funding assures a "healthy and safe" environment for our residents. But simply put, that isn't much of a life. At the core of L'Arche Cleveland's identity is providing a life in which health and safety includes a quality of life component for the entire community. Due to increasing government regulations and decreased funding, it is ever more challenging to provide the exceptional level of care L'Arche is known for and live out our greater mission of building community. So many essential aspects of a full and active life are not covered through government funding. Please support our efforts today!

Annual Reverse Raffle and Dinner – please contact our office to purchase raffle or dinner tickets, become a sponsor, donate silent auction items, or place an ad/tribute in our special Program Book.
Donations of personal property, such as computer or office equipment, furniture, etc., are determined on a case-by-case basis. Please contact the development office to determine if we can accept your personal property donation.
